A cardigan for harvest time and the first days of fall
There’s something truly special about this cardigan. The warm straw-yellow color and the chunky knit remind us of dry late-summer fields, hay, harvest time, and country life as summer slowly gives way to fall.
We can picture it on those evenings on the porch that are still warm, but where darkness falls a little earlier each day. Finally, it’s time to bring out the lanterns and light some candles again. Then it’s so cozy to throw a big knitted cardigan over your blouse or dress and stay out there for a little while longer.
The cardigan is long and generously knitted with beautiful cable-knit sections and buttons in the front. One of those lovely cardigans to wrap yourself in with jeans and boots when fall arrives, but just as nice over a lighter dress in late summer. Rustic, warm, and absolutely wonderful.
