When it’s almost time for wool sweaters
There’s something so lovely about old Nordic knitting patterns. They belong with fall forest walks, little outings, cold hands, and days when you’re happy to slip on something warm before stepping out the door.
This black sweater is knitted from 100% wool with a beautiful off-white pattern across the shoulders and chest. It’s quite thin for a wool sweater, soft and comfortable against the skin without being itchy, and features a lovely polo collar that’s a bit wider than it appears in the photos.
During the fall, it’s wonderful as an outer layer for daily errands, walks, and short outings. And when fall eventually turns to winter and the temperatures start to drop, it becomes a warm everyday sweater and a cozy extra layer under your jacket.
