The Fuzzy Little Pillow
It’s hard to resist touching this one.
The long, soft pile almost makes it look as if the pillowcase were sewn from an old-fashioned sheepskin, even though it’s made entirely of polyester. Natural white, thick, and just the right amount of shaggy—the kind of pillow that’s happy to end up right in the middle of all the others on the sofa.
We especially love it paired with floral and checkered fabrics, old-fashioned embroidery, and washed linen. And, of course, with the fuzzy throw from the same collection. When late-summer evenings grow darker and it’s once again time to light the lamps and candles in the glass porch, they almost feel like they were made for each other.
Later, the pillow gets to move inside to the sofa. There, it can rest among the other pillows all fall and winter, a little rumpled and soft, and just as comfortable to rest your cheek against as it looks.
